I'm set to triple the number of "my" bands (as Whitney rather disparagingly refers to them) that I've seen live, because after only having gone to see Iron Maiden twice when I was in university, yesterday I received my ticket for Limozeen and Limozeen in Space who are playing together in Worcester (somewhere a bit West of me) in September. They seem to get on remarkably well for being the eventual results of a large disagreement in the 80s. The ticket only cost me $40, and I remember paying well over that amount in pounds both times I went to see Iron Maiden in Britain - perhaps the way that all of these people are relatively unknown in this country is working to my advantage here.

It's also going to be a chance to meet up with someone else that I've previously only known through the Internet - livatlantis is someone I've vaguely known originally through the Iron Savior boards for some time, and even though he's from Nepal (where he is proud of being just about the sole voice of power metal in the country) he may well be attending a nearby university starting that month. So that'll instantly double the number of people I've known through the Internet and then physically met as well.

Additionally, the "sharp bend" sign outside our flat was curiously horizontal last night. It looks like someone's earned a phenomenal irony award by crashing right into it.
