Being British in America, I feel there are certain roles expected of me. The stereotype of British people is that those that aren't genetically enhanced supervillains are at least always very proper, unimpressed with everything around them, and generally a bit too clever. We only drink tea, eat sensible things like peas, and all have a picture of the Queen above our fireplaces. For us, Last of the Summer Wine is about the level of comedy we can handle. We're thoroughly against any tomfoolery and/or shenanigans, reacting to either of them with a scathing, withering air of sarcasm.

With all that in mind, this is absolutely bloody hilarious.

(I think it helps that the Japanese have a way with simple English "soundbites"... reacting to breaking the whole thing in half and then falling into the water with "NOT CLEAR" is a good way to sum it up.)
