This is what your mid-twenties does to you. ![]() Bear in mind that I look a lot less stuffed than that in real life. I was trying on the shirt and suit in preparation for visiting Whitney's grandmother in October, when we're going on a cruise with other people with obscene amounts of money who expect you to wear a tie while in the swimming pool. I picked out the purple shirt as something a bit risky, but thankfully it's nowhere near as luminous in real life as it appeared on the site we bought it from. And the case is an anniversary present from Whitney - it's rather distressing to admit how eager I was about it arriving, but it looks a lot tidier than the not-quite-fitting laptop bag that I'd been using before (which was still one of the few vaguely useful things that was left over from a conference at work). This is just about all the excitement that I can handle these days. In short I think I'm slowly turning into a carbon copy of my dad. 2009-08-08 15:04:00 2 comments |
